Howdy folks, I’m Martyn. Guitar and vocals.

I have been playing music for the guts of 20 years with guitar always being at the forefront. Similarly to Kristian I have also performed regularly and studied music at college and university. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that this is where Kristian and I met resulting in the start of a lifetime of laughs and my ALS journey.

Having got to know the guys and jumping up to play occasionally it’s been nothing short of a pleasure to get the opportunity to perform with them regularly over this last while.

What’s my playing style like you ask? Imagine Joe Walsh forgot he was in the Eagles and had to relearn the music on the fly in the middle of a show. Yup, that’s me every week.

What have I learned about my bandmates?

Ziqh grows extra limbs while playing the drums.

Zolene knows four notes on the saxophone.

Kristian might not know the chords to ABBA but he cooks a mighty beef roast. “And I say…thank you for the dinners, they’re really tasty!”

Hey, I’m Kristian, Guitarist and Vocalist!

I have been playing, listening and studying music for most of my life and am still yet to remember the chords to ‘thank you for the music’ by ABBA.

I stepped into the band 9 years ago. It has been an absolute joy to play music with my best friends, who I now consider family!

What do I think of these folk??

Ziqh, extremely good at spreadsheet’s.

Zolene, injury, muscle pain, mono-brow?? She’ll sort you out!

Martyn, has lots of cowboy boots!

I am Ziqh
I have been successfully masquerading as a performer for almost two decades, and have yet to be exposed.
Most often, I use wooden sticks to assault circles in time to the beat, although I also enjoy spreadsheets, eating, and yelling.

What do I think of my band mates?
Zolene has the ability to parallel-park.
Kristian was hit in the head with a golf club once.
In an emergency situation, Martin’s belt buckle and other accessories could be melted down and reforged into a small dagger.

Zolene Mayberry

Hey, I’m Zolene. I’ve been singing with my dad for as long as I can remember, eventually doing so professionally!

From the age of 14 I have somehow managed to release a few singles that have gotten a bit of airtime and landed myself some radio interviews and a small award thanks to the song, ‘The Antrim Coast Road’.

I count myself extremely lucky as I get to make music every week with my brother and my best friends. In the band I add vocals, acoustic guitar, sometimes bass, a little bit of saxophone and occasionally jump on drums to allow Ziqh to get out front and show off!

What do I think of my bandmates?

I think out of us all, Ziqh has the best hair, Kristian is the best cook and Martyn has the nicest hats.
