Howdy folks, I’m Martyn. Guitar and vocals.

I have been playing music for the guts of 20 years with guitar always being at the forefront. Similarly to Kristian I have also performed regularly and studied music at college and university. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that this is where Kristian and I met resulting in the start of a lifetime of laughs and my ALS journey.

Having got to know the guys and jumping up to play occasionally it’s been nothing short of a pleasure to get the opportunity to perform with them regularly over this last while.

What’s my playing style like you ask? Imagine Joe Walsh forgot he was in the Eagles and had to relearn the music on the fly in the middle of a show. Yup, that’s me every week.

What have I learned about my bandmates?

Ziqh grows extra limbs while playing the drums.

Zolene knows four notes on the saxophone.

Kristian might not know the chords to ABBA but he cooks a mighty beef roast. “And I say…thank you for the dinners, they’re really tasty!”
